The rate of immorality in the world of today......

So I was looking through my Documents on my computer, and I saw this article I wrote for a school assignment like 2 years ago. So I decided to show you without any editing
And it goes;
I sometimes sit down and ponder upon the high rate of indiscipline and immorality in our modern day society, and I wonder on how things got so bad.
In my research and thoughts I noticed that children of this generation are exposed to harmful images, videos and movies via the internet. This exposes them to sexual sins, violent acts like shooting and murder, traits of hatred and so on. Because of this, the traits, values and morals passed to children from their parents, church and school are tampered with and destroyed.
When the internet and other vices fight against the good morals of parents it leaves a bad mark on the child. This causes the child to choose between two conflicting values. So this causes children mostly teens to live immoral and ungodly lives.
I also noticed that the blame should not only be put on the Social media, but also the parents of some children. Parents who try to act like white people that they are not. They forget the values of Africans like respect, honesty and so on. This makes their children to lack good moral values.
In the world we are today, it is cool for teenagers to do things that are evil and immoral. For instance in schools or gatherings of teenagers, the people that do the bad and immoral things are the ones that are considered as the cool kids. This makes others to want to fit in, so they
Start to do immoral things. This leads to a decline in discipline.
Lastly, the government are not doing anything to help matters, because they are also immoral and undisciplined. Their indiscipline mostly comes together with corruption.
Corruption is second biggest problem we are facing on Nigeria, as far as I am concerned. The biggest is the fact that Nigerians have a wrong mentality to life and they live a life of poverty, although they have the ability to counter it.
I call it the poverty of the mind.

You see government officials like the police collecting "owo odun", as the Christmas and New Year period just passed. They don't follow their sole responsibilities, but instead do the total opposite.

This brings us to the fact that everywhere you go; just like mtn. Indiscipline is found there.
